This is not conventional FP&A. This is financial operations designed for operators. At 2 Hour Learning, you will not spend time reviewing outdated budgets or coordinating with BI departments. Instead, you will create the models, dashboards, and controls that provide operators and executives with the clarity required to make confident, real-time decisions. Your contributions will directly support everything from new school launches to strategic shifts, and accuracy, speed, and reliability are essential. You will manage a dynamic, AI-powered finance infrastructure. This includes building integrated P&L models across each school and vertical, maintaining rolling 12–18 month forecasts refreshed within 72 hours of current reality, and designing dashboards that isolate the two or three critical performance levers. All of this will be delivered using Klair, Syft, and Retool—with no dependency on engineering teams. If you believe financial models should inform action rather than simply document outcomes, this role is for you. You will not observe from the periphery. You will be central to how decisions are made and executed. What You Will Be Doing
- Develop and sustain dynamic 3-statement financial models for each school and vertical — integrating enrollment trends, staffing plans, and capital expenditures into unified forecasts.
- Refresh rolling 12–18 month forecasts on a weekly basis using the most current available data and scenario-test potential upside and downside outcomes.
- Create executive dashboards powered by live data — isolating critical levers and supporting confident, daily decision-making.
- Apply AI and automation to identify anomalies, monitor variance trends, and remove manual spreadsheet dependencies throughout finance operations.
- Draft concise memos that summarize financial exposure, strategic alternatives, and budgetary implications — prepared to board-ready standards within 72 hours.
What You Won’t Be Doing
- Administering a sluggish budget cycle — your forecasts adapt alongside the business in real time.
- Enforcing cost center compliance or tracking expense receipts — your priority is insight and control, not administrative overhead.
- Depending on BI resources — you will independently build the tools, dashboards, and models required.
- Getting lost in irrelevant detail — your role is to extract the small number of insights that shift outcomes.
- Creating reports that go unused — your deliverables inform decisions within days of completion.
Vice President Of Finance Operations Key Responsibilities Provide continuously updated financial models, forecasts, and dashboards that enable daily decision-making and strategic transparency across a fast-expanding network of schools. Basic Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, Economics, or Mathematics (CPA/CFA/MBA is a plus)
- Based in the U.S. with authorization to work without sponsorship
- Available to travel approximately 25% to campuses throughout the U.S.
- 3–6 years of experience in investment banking, private equity, Big 4 corporate finance/M&A (not audit), or high-growth FP&A
- Demonstrated experience developing integrated 3-statement models aligned with U.S. GAAP
- Capable of producing investor-quality analysis and recommendations under tight timelines
- Active daily user of AI/automation tools (e.g., GPT, Klair, Syft, Retool, NetSuite automations)
Nice-to-have Requirements
- Hands-on ERP experience with NetSuite, Oracle, or SAP
- Background in multi-site education, facilities management, or operationally intensive industries
- Prior involvement with board-level reporting or materials prepared for investors
- Proven ability to build AI-driven dashboards or low-code finance solutions
- Experience in high-end service settings with rigorous financial expectations
