  • Authorization & Permitting – Obtain multi-state regulatory approval and expedite local permitting processes to open new markets.
  • Physical Build-Out & Maintenance – Manage campus construction, facility upgrades, and vendor accountability to deliver and maintain superior learning environments.
  • IT Operational Setup – Deploy fully configured technology systems—hardware, software, support infrastructure, and compliance protocols—for every new campus launch.
  • Financial Operations – Construct budgets, produce real-time performance dashboards, and ensure audit-grade financial discipline across all schools and business units.
  • PMO – Drive execution velocity for priority technology and marketing projects using vendor scorecards, operational dashboards, and initiative tracking.

You will deploy dashboards that eliminate financial ambiguity. Engineer onboarding workflows that reduce student enrollment errors by 50%. Obtain regulatory clearance in untapped states. Launch campuses at unprecedented speed. Or design AI-powered processes that eliminate conventional management overhead. This is mission-critical, high-tempo execution—executed by builders, not spectators. If you identify operational friction and immediately start constructing solutions—rather than convening meetings—you will excel in this role. The systems you build will enable the launch of 25–30 new schools over the coming year. Your contributions will establish operational standards for hundreds of employees and thousands of learners. And your results will be self-evident. What You Will Be Doing

  • Taking full ownership of one strategic operations domain: Authorization, Build-Out, Platforms, Finance, or PMO
  • Addressing novel operational challenges within your domain through AI tooling, automation, and iterative refinement
  • Producing detailed specifications, operational dashboards, or procedural guides that function reliably across multiple campuses
  • Engaging directly with operational realities: facility contractors, government agencies, technology platforms, and campus personnel
  • Conducting on-site campus visits as required to deploy or validate your operational solutions

What You Won’t Be Doing

  • Waiting for product or engineering teams to develop operational tools—you will build prototypes and automation independently
  • Using AI to generate generic documentation and considering it complete—you will vibe-code functional solutions
  • Operating exclusively from headquarters—anticipate regular travel and on-the-ground implementation
  • Delegating execution of your strategic plans to others—you will own both strategy and delivery from start to finish

Senior Director Of Operations Key Responsibilities Deliver measurable results within your designated operations pillar by designing and implementing systems that enable rapid, accurate, AI-driven school expansion at scale. Basic Requirements

  • Located in North America with availability to travel 25-75% depending on operational needs
  • 5+ years in high-velocity, high-autonomy operational environments
  • Excellent analytical capabilities and written communication proficiency
  • Action-oriented mindset, minimal ego, and complete ownership mentality
  • Demonstrated experience in at least one of: regulatory compliance, facilities development, SaaS user onboarding, FP&A, or technology vendor management
  • Employs AI as reflexively as others use spreadsheets: naturally, regularly, and across diverse applications.
  • Has created workflow automations, systematized operational processes, and explored vibe-coding for personal productivity or experimentation.
  • Proven ability to achieve rapid expertise in new domains (legal, finance, compliance, systems, etc.)
