Senior Marketing Project Manager (Remote)

Location: TelecommuteJob Type: ContractCompensation Range: $55 - 70 per hour We are seeking a Senior Marketing Project Manager to lead a high-stakes, multi-phase rebrand initiative. This is not a "creative-only" role; we need a structured, PMI-grounded professional who thrives in a formal PMO environment. You will be responsible for the merging and rebranding of major profit centers, ensuring that complex, cross-functional dependencies are managed with surgical precision. This is a 12-to-18-month engagement for an autonomous leader who can navigate competing priorities and senior stakeholder expectations without needing a roadmap provided for them. Responsibilities:

• Lead the Rebrand: Drive the end-to-end execution of a major brand merger, managing everything from initial charters to final rollout.
• Own the PMO Standards: Utilize Smartsheet and Confluence to maintain "audit-ready" documentation, including risk logs, decision logs, and detailed schedules.
• Stakeholder Navigation: Act as the primary bridge between Marketing leadership and the PMO, confidently handling pushback and clarifying requirements across distributed teams.
• Risk Mitigation: Proactively identify project bottlenecks and resource gaps, escalating issues with proposed solutions rather than just reporting problems.

Qualifications:

• A Seasoned Pro: You have significantly more than 3 years of experience. You likely operate at a Senior PM level and have a deep toolkit of PMI-based frameworks (Waterfall or Hybrid).
• PMO Native: You are comfortable working within a structured PMO. You understand the value of standardized templates, governance, and rigorous status reporting.
• Smartsheet Power User: You don't just "use" Smartsheet; you can build and maintain complex project plans that reflect real-time dependencies and resource needs.
• Hyper-Organized & Autonomous: You can be handed a high-level objective and run with it, leveraging existing frameworks and training materials to get up to speed quickly.

Technical Requirements:

• Tools: Mastery of Smartsheet and Confluence is highly preferred. High proficiency in the Microsoft 365 suite (Teams, PPT, OneNote) is required.
• Domain Expertise: Prior experience managing Rebrand Initiatives or complex marketing mergers is a significant plus.
• Communication: Exceptional written and verbal skills-able to present technical project data to non-technical creative leaders clearly.
