SUMMARY: We are seeking a highly driven, analytical, and hands-on Regional Continuous Improvement Manager to accelerate operational excellence across our North American manufacturing network. Reporting directly to the Director of Continuous Improvement, you will act as a change agent, work collaboratively with plant managers, leading high-impact initiatives, diagnosing operational challenges, and implementing data-driven solutions that deliver measurable improvements. This is a high-travel role (~70%) that requires presence at multiple Camfil sites to collaborate with plant leadership, frontline teams, and corporate stakeholders. Your mission is to bring the rigor of lean manufacturing, the mindset of continuous improvement, and the strategic lens of root cause analysis to every corner of our operations. ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES: In addition to those listed in the Summary section above, the following are duties necessary for the position.

  • Lead CI initiatives across a portfolio of regional plants driving measurable improvements in productivity, quality, lead time, and cost.
  • Conduct operational diagnostics using lean tools, data analytics, and on the floor observation to uncover improvement opportunities.
  • Facilitate Kaizen events, root cause analyses, and training workshops to build CI capabilities at all levels of the organization.
  • Partner with Plant Managers and site CI leaders to develop and execute strategic improvement roadmaps.
  • Use statistical and quantitative analysis to model operational outcomes and assess the ROI of initiatives.
  • Collaborate cross-functionally with Engineering, Supply Chain, Quality, and Finance to align CI initiatives with broader business goals.
  • Track, report, and communicate results and learnings from all CI activities to senior stakeholders, including the CI Director.
  • Complete special projects and other duties as assigned.

This list of duties and responsibilities is not all inclusive and may be expanded to include other duties and responsibilities as management may deem necessary. MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Bachelor's or Master's degree in engineering, Operations, or a related technical field.
  • Lean Six Sigma Green or Black Belt certification, preferred.
  • Experience working in a high-performance manufacturing environment.
  • 5+ years of experience in continuous improvement, operational excellence, or manufacturing strategy; experience in automotive or industrial manufacturing strongly preferred.
  • Proven ability to lead and implement CI initiatives using Lean, Six Sigma, TPM, or other methodologies.
  • Strong data analysis skills; experience with Excel, Power BI, Minitab, or other statistical tools.
  • Demonstrated experience working across multiple plants or regions; ability to navigate complex stakeholder environments.
  • Exceptional interpersonal and leadership skills; confident facilitator and change agent.
  • A relentless drive to solve problems, improve systems, and challenge the status quo.
  • Willing and able to travel, domestically, up to 70% of the time.

WORK ENVIRONMENT: While performing the duties of this job, the employee is exposed to office, warehouse, and manufacturing plant surroundings. The noise level in the plant environment is usually moderate. Certain areas will require the use of personal protective equipment (PPE).
