Apolisrises is currently seeking a Director to join our Business Development Organization to be based remotely in any Eastern or Central Region cities.
Qualifications
- Apolis is seeking an experienced motivated professional to join us as Business Development Director
- This position requires a strategic mindset, exceptional communication skills, and a proven track record of success in sales
- Minimum ten years of demonstrated business development, sales, and client management experience in professional services; requiring the management of corporate accounts with direct sales responsibility within IT industry
- Bachelor's degree from an accredited college/university or equivalent experience
- Demonstrate exceptional interpersonal skills that have resulted in business relationships of trust, confidence, and results
- Experience developing and leading relationship-building activities with C- Level executives
- Demonstrated success in identifying, initiating, and nurturing new or ongoing business opportunities
- Ability to travel regularly
Responsibilities
- Reporting to the Executive Vice President Sales, the IT Services Business Development Director will play a pivotal role in prospecting for and managing key accounts
- The ideal candidate will be adept at nurturing relationships with existing clients, identifying new business opportunities, and exceeding sales targets
- He/She will collaborate with cross-functional teams to develop and execute sales strategies, identify new business opportunities, and ensure complete customer satisfaction
- Capable of generating meetings and driving content-rich discussions at the executive level to discover needs and relate to our service capabilities; implement a sound process for moving from discovery to solutioning to booking
- Identify and pursue new business opportunities within existing accounts as well as develop new markets
- Create leads and opportunities; manage the overall sales process; support end-to-end contracting including price and legal negotiations and risk management; assist with proposal development, focusing on the Apolis value proposition, key differentiators and win themes
- Serve as the primary point of contact for all communication with new and assigned accounts
- Analyze market trends, competitor activities, and customer feedback to inform sales strategies
- Identify and pursue new business opportunities within existing accounts and new markets
- Develop and execute strategic sales plans to achieve sales targets and maximize revenue
- Negotiate pricing, terms, and contracts to ensure mutually beneficial agreements
- Review and analyze contract terms to ensure compliance and mitigate risks
- Work closely with finance teams to finalize contracts and agreements
- Ensure high levels of customer satisfaction by providing exceptional service and support
- Address customer inquiries, concerns, and escalations in a timely and professional manner
