Application Architect

Allied Consultants, Inc is a proudly Austin based firm with over 34 years of experience delivering top-tier technical and business professionals within Texas State Agencies. We are currently seeking an experience Application Architect to play a key role within a high-impact technical services team.

Work Location:**Location of job: 100% Remote**Responsibilities

Plans, develops, tests, and documents computer programs, applying knowledge of programming techniques and computer systems to support agency and related projects.

QualificationsMinimum Requirements:8 years of:

• Plans, develops, tests, and documents computer programs, applying knowledge of programming techniques and computer systems.

5 years of:

• Consults with users to identify current operating procedures and clarify program objectives
• Formulates plan outlining steps required to develop programs, using methodologies such as structured analysis and design or object-oriented development.
• Experience in planning and executing tasks independently or in a team setting to accomplish goals.
• Full-time experience in computer programming and/or systems analysis.
• Knowledge of the limitations and capabilities of computer systems and their integration with end user business processes.
• Skills in preparing technical documents of varying complexities for technical and non-technical audiences.
• Skill in working with data automation standards and systems administration technologies
• Skill in analyzing and interpreting agency organizations, business practices, policies and procedures.
