Role Description

We are seeking a Mortgage Loan Officer for a full-time and remote position. The Mortgage Loan Officer will be responsible for assisting members through the mortgage process, assessing loan applications, and ensuring all underwriting policies are adhered to. Responsibilities include providing personalized customer service, identifying and promoting suitable lending products, reviewing financial documents, and ensuring compliance with industry standards. Additionally, the Loan Officer will collaborate with internal teams to facilitate loan closings and meet performance goals.

Qualifications

• Experience and knowledge in Loan Origination, Mortgage Lending, and the Mortgage Industry
• Understanding of Underwriting practices and ability to evaluate financial documentation
• Strong focus on providing exceptional Customer Service and building member relationships
• Demonstrated ability to work independently in a remote setting while meeting deadlines
• Familiarity with financial regulations and compliance requirements
• Bachelor’s degree in a related field or equivalent experience
• Licensing requirements as mandated by federal and state regulations (if applicable)
• Effective communication, organizational, and problem-solving skills
• Experience with digital tools and platforms for mortgage processing is a plus
