About the Company

Synapticure is a patient and caregiver-founded healthcare company that provides virtual access to expert neurologists, advanced treatments, clinical trials, care coordination, and behavioral health support across all 50 U.S. states. The company partners with healthcare providers and health plans, including through CMS’s GUIDE dementia care model, to improve care for individuals and families affected by neurodegenerative diseases such as Alzheimer’s, Parkinson’s, and ALS.

Synapticure’s Data team supports patient care, operational efficiency, and clinical innovation by turning complex data into actionable insights that inform decisions and improve outcomes for patients, caregivers, and providers.

About the Role

Synapticure is seeking an experienced Data Analyst to join its growing Data team, reporting to the Head of Data. This is a strategic, hands-on analytics leadership role focused on defining how the organization measures success, develops analytical frameworks, and uses data to guide clinical, operational, and financial decisions.

The successful candidate will own analytical strategy for major business areas, develop scalable data models, lead cross-functional initiatives, and advise senior leadership on data-driven decision-making. Beyond reporting and dashboards, the role involves establishing enterprise metrics, strengthening data governance, mentoring analysts, and ensuring analytical practices remain rigorous, consistent, and scalable as the organization grows.

Key Responsibilities

  • Define and manage a multi-quarter analytical roadmap for a major business area, such as Clinical, Growth, or Operations, aligning data initiatives with organizational objectives.
  • Design and maintain scalable data models and semantic layers using dbt, Snowflake, and related technologies, ensuring performance, accuracy, and data integrity.
  • Lead complex analytical projects that integrate diverse data sources and require collaboration across Product, Clinical, Finance, and Operations teams.
  • Partner with senior and executive leaders to frame business questions, guide analytical methodologies, and deliver insights that influence company strategy.
  • Mentor other analysts and establish standards for analytical rigor, reproducibility, documentation, and data quality.
  • Define, document, and govern enterprise-level key performance indicators (KPIs) to ensure consistent measurement across teams.
  • Present analytical findings through clear, compelling narratives that connect technical results with business priorities and clinical outcomes.
  • Promote strong data governance practices and maintain high standards across analytical outputs, data models, and supporting infrastructure.

Required Qualifications

  • At least 8 years of experience in advanced data roles, such as Data Analyst, Analytics Engineer, BI Architect, or an equivalent position, with demonstrated impact in complex, high-growth organizations.
  • Strong understanding of healthcare data ecosystems, including CMS data, clinical workflows, value-based care models, and regulatory compliance.
  • Expert-level SQL skills and experience developing data transformation pipelines using dbt or equivalent modern data stack tools.
  • Hands-on experience designing and maintaining production-grade data models in Snowflake, BigQuery, or Redshift.
  • Experience with business intelligence tools such as Tableau, Looker, Power BI, or Knowi, including building scalable analytics environments.
  • Ability to translate ambiguous business questions into structured analytical plans and actionable recommendations.
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills, with the ability to influence executive stakeholders and collaborate across functions.
  • Demonstrated experience mentoring data professionals and implementing analytical best practices at scale.
  • A proven record of delivering measurable business and clinical impact through data-driven decisions.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience using Python or R for advanced statistical modeling or machine learning.
  • Knowledge of patient journey analytics, cohort development, and healthcare funnel analysis.
  • Familiarity with value-based care metrics, risk adjustment, and clinical quality measurement.
  • Background in statistical methods, causal inference, and experimental design.
  • Experience working in a startup or high-growth organization, preferably in health technology or healthcare analytics.
  • Contributions to the data community through open-source projects, blog posts, or speaking engagements.
