Information Technology Project Coordinator

Pay rate: 45-55/hr W2

Job Summary:

We are seeking a detail-oriented and proactive Project Coordinator to support and facilitate a large migration program that includes multiple IT and business projects/work streams. This role will work closely with the IT project manager, IT program manager, other technical individuals from the infrastructure teams as well as business project managers and several cross-functional teams to ensure smooth coordination of planning, monitoring/controlling and execution tasks.

Key Responsibilities:

• Drive cross-project and cross-program coordination of all necessary work items and check lists supporting conveyance of American Heritage applications.
• Create, maintain, and provide specific program documents/artifacts to new project managers and business analysts as they on-board to the program.
• Partner closely with the project/program manager to create and share meeting agenda, cadence, audience to invite
• Communicate program artifacts and when to use via communicating with the IT project managers.
• Partner with program manager to set up program governance.
• Add and manage people to access Workday codes, based on program manager guidance.
• Interface with IT project managers and stakeholders on risk, issue and decisions status and communicate status reporting cadence and needs.
• Assist in post-deployment validation and issue tracking.

Required Qualifications:

• 5+ years of experience in a project coordination or technical project support role.
• Strong organizational and communication skills.
• Experience with tools such as Jira, Target Process, Confluence, Excel, SharePoint.
• Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Familiarity with mainframe
• Experience working within IT infrastructure, security or DevOps environments.
• ITIL, PMP, Scrum certifications are a plus.
• Knowledge of waterfall and Agile capabilities.

• Issues as discovered (there is one every day)
