Job Description

Posted on: January 31, 2026

The Doyle Group is a proven partner for Placement and Consulting services, headquartered in Denver, CO. Our core mission is to forge genuine partnerships with our clients who seek strategic talent solutions and to assist highly skilled candidates looking for their next career opportunity. With over 30 years of industry experience, our consultative approach allows us to provide a higher level of guidance and insight**,** empowering our clients to secure top IT talent that fits seamlessly into their team and culture. We look forward to collaborating to help you achieve your career goals. Position Summary We’re partnering with an innovative EdTech company to identify a Product Manager who will lead two high-impact initiatives: building a new admin portal tailored for school-based users and implementing a scalable student rostering solution. These projects are critical to expanding the company’s platform beyond its D2C roots to support a growing B2B customer base of schools and districts. In this role, you’ll own end-to-end discovery and planning - working cross-functionally to define scope, gather requirements, and document product strategy through detailed briefs and recommendations. You won’t be writing code, but you’ll need to engage deeply with technical and business teams, evaluate potential solutions, and translate user needs into clear product direction. This is a remote, contract role running through June 2026, reporting to the Senior Director of Product Strategy and Customer Lifecycle. Responsibilities

  • Lead discovery and early-stage product planning for two high-impact initiatives:
  • Admin Portal: Design and define functionality for school administrators and teachers, expanding upon the existing parent-facing platform.
  • Rostering System: Evaluate and drive implementation of a scalable solution to onboard and manage large student populations efficiently.
  • Facilitate cross-functional collaboration with engineering, data, customer success, and product marketing teams.
  • Drive documentation of product briefs, requirements, and decision rationale to support clarity and downstream execution.
  • Conduct market and user research to validate needs and prioritize features.
  • Translate business needs into actionable plans; present options and recommendations to senior leadership.
  • Ensure alignment of deliverables with business goals, timelines, and launch readiness for the back-to-school season.
  • Be a champion for AI-forward thinking and explore innovative solutions that reduce reliance on legacy tech.

Minimum Experience

  • 5+ years of experience in product management, with at least 2 years in an EdTech environment.
  • Demonstrated success owning and delivering B2B education products such as admin dashboards, teacher portals, or rostering systems.
  • Strong discovery and planning capabilities in addition to the ability to independently define and document project scope and success criteria.
  • Experience documenting product decisions, discovery findings, and solution rationales in a clear, structured format.
  • Experience collaborating in fast-paced environments with limited existing structure.
  • Comfortable engaging with developers and technical stakeholders to translate requirements (no coding required).
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.

Additional Plus

  • Familiarity with student information systems (SIS) or rostering tools.
  • Experience launching products built on platforms like Shopify (optional support area).
  • Background working in small, agile product teams within growing EdTech companies.

Salary / Wage Range $55.00—$75.00/hour Compensation for the role will depend on a number of factors, including a candidate’s qualifications, skills, competencies and experience and may fall outside of the range shown. The Doyle Group offers a competitive rewards package, which includes a 401k, healthcare coverage and other benefits.
