About the Opportunity:
The PROJECT MANAGER - DATA CENTERS is responsible for leading service solution projects within the customer services business from initiation through completion. This role ensures projects meet safety, budget, schedule, quality, and performance goals while managing stakeholder communication and resources. The position contributes to maintaining high customer satisfaction and supports organizational growth through effective project execution in a fast-paced environment.
Responsibilities:
- Manage projects from inception to completion ensuring safety, budget, schedule, quality, and performance objectives are met
- Communicate with team members, stakeholders, and management, providing updates and managing customer expectations
- Identify, assign, and manage project resources including engineering, field personnel, vendors, and third-party services
- Identify project risks, develop mitigation strategies, and monitor third-party vendor contract adherence
- Track project budget, schedule completion and perform monthly revenue forecasting
- Review contractual obligations, manage change orders, and participate in vendor negotiations
- Develop project execution plans such as quality and testing plans, schedules, and risk registers
- Implement recovery plans to address performance issues
- Collaborate with internal and external teams and clients to develop site schedules and maintain client relationships
Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent combination of education and experience
- Minimum 5 years of experience in service projects related to fields such as field service, EPC projects, construction, energy, or manufacturing
- Strong written and verbal communication skills to present complex issues and communicate progress to multi-level audiences
- Authorization to work in the U.S. without employer-sponsored work visa
Preferred Skills and Experience:
- PMP certification required within one year of employment if not already held
- Degree in engineering or construction management
- Knowledge of medium and/or high voltage electrical equipment
- Understanding of data center construction projects
- Experience with MS Project or relevant scheduling software
- Strong leadership skills with experience leading cross-functional project teams
Pay Range and Compensation Package:
- The pay range and compensation package for this role will be determined based on the candidate's experience, skills, and other relevant factors.
