Join to apply for the Project / Account Manager TOD (Remote LATAM) - 43824440183 role at SomewhereLocation: Remote (LATAM and South Africa) Contract: Independent Contractor, Minimum 3-month contract with the potential for an indefinite extension Schedule: Full-Time, Monday-Friday, EST Industry: Debt Receivable & Alternative Finance (B2B) Overview We are seeking a proactive and flexible Project Manager / Account Manager to support our marketing agency's operations and client communications within the B2B debt receivable and alternative finance space. This role will serve as the central hub for client interactions, project management, and internal operations. The ideal candidate will be comfortable working with older-school clients, managing deliverables across various tasks, and staying hands-on in both operations and light marketing execution. Prior agency experience is preferred but not required. Key Responsibilities
- Client-Facing Communications:
- Serve as the primary point of contact for clients, ensuring clear communication and alignment of goals.
- Translate client needs into actionable tasks and deliverables.
- Follow up with clients regularly to meet deadlines and exceed expectations.
- Project Management:
- Cascade deliverables across internal teams and track project status to ensure deadlines are met.
- Proactively resolve issues and escalate concerns when necessary.
- Coordinate resources and activities across various business verticals.
- Internal Operations & Support:
- Provide operational support in client services (CS), marketing, and light operations.
- Manage and track ad spend, project timelines, and content scheduling.
- Execute ad-hoc tasks and contribute to internal process improvement.
- CMS & Marketing Execution:
- Update website content, blogs, and newsletters on CMS platforms.
- Manage content workflows, including scheduling and sending newsletters.
- Monitor and adjust marketing campaigns (SEO, ad spend) to meet client objectives.
- Growth & Collaboration:
- Support business development and collaborate with the SDR/Outbound team to build the sales pipeline.
- Contribute to operational improvements and optimize processes for efficiency.
- Take initiative and demonstrate an entrepreneurial mindset in tackling challenges.
- Operational Leadership:
- Own the agency's CRM, ensuring effective setup and management for client and project tracking.
- Monitor and optimize internal operational systems and workflows.
Requirements
- Client-Facing Experience:
- Strong communication skills, particularly in B2B environments.
- Ability to translate client needs into actionable tasks and maintain strong relationships.
- Project Management & Operations:
- Previous experience managing multiple projects and timelines.
- Familiar with tools for tracking deliverables and managing team performance.
- Marketing & CMS Familiarity:
- Basic knowledge of digital marketing, SEO, newsletters, and ad spend management.
- Comfortable updating CMS platforms (websites, blogs, newsletters).
- Data-Driven & Operationally Oriented:
- Experience tracking data, project progress, and performance metrics.
- Familiarity with tools like Google Sheets/Excel for task and KPI tracking.
- Entrepreneurial Mindset:
- Self-starter who can work independently and manage evolving tasks.
- Flexible and adaptable to changing business needs and priorities.
- Agency Experience (Preferred):
- Prior agency experience, especially in client management or operations.
- Experience managing B2B client relationships is highly valued.
- Bonus:
- Familiarity with CRM platforms (HubSpot, Salesforce).
- Experience in the alternative finance or debt receivable industry.
- Knowledge of digital marketing principles is a plus.
