About The Role
We are partnering with a nationally recognized residential mortgage lender that is seeking a highly skilled Senior Financial Analyst –Corporate FP&A to support its dynamic finance team. This fully remote role will report directly to a well-regarded finance leader and play a key role in delivering corporate financial insights through detailed modeling, reporting, and analysis. Compensation
- Salary: $90,000 – $120,000, dependent on YOE
- Incentives: 5% annual bonus, full benefits package
Primary Responsibilities
- Lead and refine corporate budgeting, forecasting, and variance analysis processes in coordination with key stakeholders.
- Build and optimize large-scale financial models spanning income statement, balance sheet, and cash flow components.
- Provide strategic insights and reporting packages to executive leadership, including board-level materials and KPI dashboards.
- Analyze data trends across business units and develop recommendations that drive operational and financial improvements.
- Collaborate on ad hoc analysis projects including ROI modeling for new products and limited involvement in M&A due diligence.
- Identify opportunities to automate or streamline reporting processes, including the use of Excel macros or BI tools.
- Ensure the accuracy, consistency, and integrity of all financial data across internal systems and reports.
- Mentor and support junior financial analysts, serving as a subject matter expert and resource in the department.
Candidate Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or related field
- 4+ years of experience in a corporate FP&A or financial analysis role
- Strong command of three-statement modeling and complex forecasting techniques
- Advanced Excel modeling skills, including functions, pivot tables, and macros
- Experience working with large data sets and visualization tools (e.g., Power BI)
- Ability to independently manage projects and communicate effectively with leadership
- Experience with LoanVision or Jet Reporting is a plus
- Background in mortgage lending or financial services is preferred
