About the Role
Own how Ditto explains its products and platform to the world. You'll build distinct product narratives and connect them through a cohesive case for edge-native architecture, then carry those stories through launches for existing and upcoming products. Working closely with Product, Engineering, Sales, and Partnerships, you'll influence pitch decks, documentation, RFP responses, and sales conversations.
Responsibilities
- Own the Edge Sync Platform narrative, making the case for edge-native architecture to technical, business, and public-sector buyers.
- Build positioning and messaging for Ditto Edge SDK, Ditto Cloud, Ditto Server, Ditto Propagate, and Ditto Apps, grounded in customer research and win/loss evidence.
- Lead launches end to end, including tiering, positioning, pricing and packaging input, asset creation, internal enablement, and a defined 90-day measure of success.
- Adapt the platform story for B2C, B2B, and B2G buyers, reflecting their proof points, objections, and procurement realities.
- Equip Sales and Solutions Engineering with pitch narratives, battlecards, demo storylines, and objection handling. Track whether those assets are used in real deals.
- Monitor competitors, alternatives, and adjacent technologies to inform positioning and roadmap conversations.
Qualifications
- Demonstrated experience positioning a technical product for more than one type of buyer, with examples of the impact.
- Strong writing for technical audiences, sales teams, and the broader market.
- Ability to discuss architecture, APIs, SDKs, networking, and distributed systems directly with engineers.
- A research-led approach using customer interviews, win/loss calls, and recorded sales conversations.
- Ability to coordinate launches across Product, Engineering, Sales, Support, and Partnerships without directly managing those teams.
- Proficiency with current AI tools and models for automation, ideation, asset creation, and decision-making, paired with judgment about when human ownership matters.
Nice to Have
- Developer marketing experience across documentation, SDK onboarding, and developer community channels.
- Background in infrastructure, data platforms, mobile technology, edge computing, or IoT, or a record of learning complex technical categories quickly.
- Experience defining a category and helping buyers understand a problem in a new way.
- Design skills spanning product pages and sales presentations.
- Public-sector or defense exposure, including program offices, primes, FedRAMP or ATO processes, and procurement cycles.
Ditto encourages applications from candidates who do not meet every qualification and values grit, curiosity, and adaptability.
Compensation and Benefits
- Advertised compensation of $140,000 to $217,000. This range spans all markets where Ditto hires. Actual offers reflect location, skills, and experience.
- Meaningful equity.
- Region-specific benefits. In the US, these include health, dental, vision, life, and disability insurance, a 401(k), and flexible spending accounts.
- Flexible time off for everyone.
- Remote work, with an Atlanta office available for working or meeting teammates.
