AI Manager (Prompt Engineering & Automation)

Our client is an eight-figure entrepreneur with a lean but dynamic team that has built a very successful options & equity trading business - providing education and mentorship to new and seasoned traders alike. They are seeking a cunning and resourceful AI Manager with deep expertise in prompt engineering, AI workflow automation, and real-world integration of AI systems into business operations. In this role, you will work closely with a small team of developers, engineers, and business stakeholders to design, prototype, and deploy AI-powered solutions that improve efficiency, scale operations, and unlock new capabilities across their multiple businesses. The ideal candidate experiments rapidly, thinks in systems, and understands how to translate rapidly evolving AI tools into practical, production-ready workflows. This role requires both strong technical fluency and the ability to collaborate effectively with engineering teams to implement scalable AI solutions. This role is NOT a good fit for someone who intends to follow a traditional career trajectory in AI/engineering, or wants to work in a cutting-edge company.This role is more suitable for someone who wants to make alot of money, gain full exposure to multiple businesses, and thrives when given an unrestrained creative environment.This position is FULLY-REMOTE, although there is a strong preference for someone based in Calgary or can work within a similar time zone. KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Design and implement AI-driven workflows that automate business processes and improve operational efficiency.
• Develop advanced prompt engineering frameworks for large language models to ensure reliable, structured, and repeatable outputs.
• Prototype and deploy AI-enabled applications, tools, or internal utilities within rapid development cycles.
• Build automated pipelines using APIs, orchestration tools, and scripting to connect AI models with business systems.
• Continuously evaluate emerging AI tools, models, and platforms to identify opportunities for adoption and experimentation.
• Create scalable architectures for AI-powered workflows, including multi-step reasoning chains, agent-based processes, and task automation.
• Implement monitoring and testing frameworks to measure performance, accuracy, reliability, and cost of AI systems.
• Document prompt frameworks, workflows, and integration architectures for long-term maintainability.
• Collaborate with product, engineering, and operations teams to ensure AI implementations align with real business needs.

REQUIREMENTS:

• Demonstrated expertise with leading AI platforms such as ChatGPT, Claude, Gemini, and other large language models.
• Advanced prompt engineering capabilities including structured prompting, chain-of-thought prompting, system prompts, and output control strategies.
• Familiarity with AI development ecosystems such as LangChain, LlamaIndex, or similar frameworks.
• Strong understanding of API-based AI integrations and the ability to work with developers to deploy AI-enabled solutions.
• Experience working with Python, JavaScript, or other scripting languages used in AI integration workflows.
• Experience designing automation workflows using orchestration tools, scripting, or workflow automation platforms.
• Ability to rapidly prototype AI-powered applications, tools, or internal systems within short development cycles.
• Familiarity with concepts such as retrieval-augmented generation (RAG), embeddings, vector databases, or agent-based AI workflows.
• Experience working as, or collaborating directly with software engineers, data engineers, or product teams on technical implementations.
• Ability to evaluate trade-offs between different models, APIs, and architectures when designing AI solutions.
• Fluent in English.
• Flexibility working across time zones - ideally aligned with GMT-7.
• Degrees and certifications are not important - you should have the mindset of a tinkerer, and live, breathe, and stay ahead of all things AI.
