Immediate Opening: Remote Financial Analyst (PST Hours)

Duration: 1–3 Month Contract

Reports To: CFO

Availability: Must be available to start immediately

We’re seeking a skilled Financial Analyst to support our Fontana-based team on a short-term contract. This remote role requires availability during Pacific Standard Time (PST) hours and offers the opportunity to contribute to high-impact financial planning and analysis.

Key Responsibilities

• Conduct detailed financial analysis including variance, trend, and sales analysis
• Build and maintain financial models to support forecasting and strategic decisions
• Perform ad hoc analysis to address business challenges
• Analyze sales performance and identify actionable trends
• Extract insights from complex datasets using data mining techniques
• Prepare and extract reports using Power BI and Excel
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to align financial insights with business goals
• Monitor cash flow and profitability, recommending cost optimizations
• Assess competitive market conditions to guide strategy
• Support planning and forecasting with data-driven insights

Ideal Candidate

• Strong background in financial modeling and analysis
• Proficient in Excel and Power BI
• Available to start immediately
• Comfortable working remotely and aligning with PST hours

• A minimum of 2 years of experience in financial analysis or a related field.

• Proficiency in financial modeling, variance analysis, and data interpretation.

• Strong skills in data mining, financial planning, and cash flow analysis.

• Experience with tools such as Power BI and advanced Excel functions.

• Demonstrated ability to conduct sales, market, and competitive analyses.

• Excellent attention to detail and the ability to handle complex datasets.

• Strong communication skills to effectively present findings to stakeholders.

• A bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or a related discipline.
