Power Analysis Engineer

Our clients range from commercial to industrial small systems to very large. Recent projects have included data centers, school complexes, and manufacturing facilities.

Role Description

This is a full-time remote role for a Power Analysis Salesperson/Engineer. The Power Analysis Engineer will be responsible for analyzing power systems, conducting failure analysis, performing data analysis, testing power systems, and utilizing simulations. Typical projects may involve extensive production of Arc-Flash reports and labels. The role will also involve collaborating with cross-functional teams and providing recommendations for improvement. Some interaction with the client and/or Electrical Contractor will be required as well as on-site survey activities.

Qualifications

• Analytical Skills, Data Analysis, and Simulations
• Experience in failure analysis and testing
• Strong problem-solving and critical-thinking abilities
• Knowledge of power systems and electrical engineering principles
• Excellent communication and collaboration skills
• Ability to work independently and remotely
• Experience with power analysis software is a plus (SKM PowerTools, EasyPower)
• Experience with Autocad, Microstation, Excel
• Associates or Bachelors degree in Electrical Engineering or related field
