We’re looking for an organized, detail-oriented, and people-focused HR Assistant / HR Administrator / HR Support Officer to provide administrative and operational support across the Human Resources function. This role is ideal for candidates who enjoy working with people, managing employee information, coordinating HR processes, and supporting a positive employee experience in a fully remote environment.
🎯 Key Responsibilities
- Provide day-to-day administrative and operational support to the HR team
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date employee records, HR databases, and personnel files
- Assist with recruitment activities, including job postings, candidate communication, interview scheduling, and application tracking
- Coordinate new hire onboarding, employee orientation, and required documentation
- Support employee lifecycle processes, including onboarding, transfers, status changes, and offboarding
- Respond to routine employee HR questions and direct complex matters to the appropriate HR team member
- Prepare HR documents, forms, letters, reports, and internal communications
- Assist with benefits administration, employee enrollment, and benefits-related documentation
- Support payroll-related administrative activities and provide information to payroll teams when required
- Coordinate HR meetings, training sessions, employee events, and other HR activities
- Maintain confidential employee information and personnel records in accordance with company policies
- Assist with HR compliance activities and ensure required documentation is properly maintained
- Track employee information, HR requests, deadlines, and required follow-up actions
- Prepare basic HR reports, spreadsheets, and summaries
- Assist with employee engagement, internal communications, and company culture initiatives
- Collaborate with managers, employees, recruiters, payroll, and other internal teams
- Help improve HR processes, workflows, and administrative procedures
- Support HR projects and other administrative tasks as assigned
✅ Requirements
- Entry-Level / Junior candidates are welcome to apply
- 0–3+ years of experience in human resources, HR administration, recruiting, office administration, customer service, or a related field
- Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, Psychology, or a related field is a plus but not required
- Strong organizational and time-management skills
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy
- Ability to manage multiple tasks and priorities effectively
- Basic understanding of HR principles and employee lifecycle processes
- Familiarity with HRIS, applicant tracking systems (ATS), or payroll platforms is a plus
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office or Google Workspace
- Strong interpersonal and problem-solving skills
- Ability to handle confidential and sensitive employee information with professionalism and discretion
- Ability to work independently and collaborate effectively with distributed teams
- Professional, dependable, approachable, and service-oriented attitude
- Willingness to learn new HR systems, tools, policies, and processes
- Fluent in English
- Based in the United States and legally authorized to work in the U.S.
- Able to work effectively in a fully remote environment
