The role
As a Backend Engineer, you’ll join a strong engineering team that solves complex technical challenges every day. You’ll own projects from initial design through to production, and part of the role involves work on the company’s FedRAMP environment. The role is fully remote.
What you’ll do
- Own the full project lifecycle: design, development, deployment, monitoring and maintenance in production
- Contribute to technology and architecture decisions
- Carry out design and code reviews
- Improve the efficiency, scalability and stability of backend systems
- Work closely with Frontend, DevOps and other teams to deliver best-in-class features
- Support development within a FedRAMP-compliant environment
What you’ll bring
- 3+ years of backend engineering experience in a high-level language (Java, C#, Python or Go)
- Hands-on experience with AWS, GCP and/or Azure
- Experience building data-intensive systems using message queue technologies
- Experience working with microservices architecture
- Experience with CI/CD pipelines
- A degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering or a related field
Nice to have
- Experience with FedRAMP or government cloud environments
- Background in cloud security or security products
