Billing Coordinator IV-Fully RemoteInitial 4 month- Contract OpportunityPosition Overview:

Our client is seeking a detail-oriented Billing Coordinator IV to support back-office billing operations and exception processing. This role is responsible for reviewing billing exceptions, performing account adjustments, and ensuring customer billing is completed accurately and in accordance with tariff and regulatory guidelines.

Key Responsibilities:

• Review and complete billing exception memos accurately and within required timelines

• Perform billing corrections and account adjustments as needed

• Investigate and resolve billing discrepancies and deferred accounts

• Ensure accurate billing in accordance with tariff and regulatory guidelines

• Support customer service teams by assisting with billing inquiries and adjustments

• Monitor workload and help the team meet daily and monthly service level metrics

• Identify opportunities to improve billing processes and operational efficiency

Required Qualifications:

• High school diploma or GED

• Strong working knowledge of Microsoft Excel and Microsoft Word

• Strong written and verbal communication skills

• Experience working in a team-oriented environment

• Strong organizational and multitasking skills

• Ability to deliver results while working within deadlines

• Knowledge of back-office billing or customer accounting processesPreferred Qualifications:

• Experience with billing exception processing

• Knowledge of utility billing rules, tariffs, and regulations

• Experience with customer information or billing systems

• Strong customer service experience

• Familiarity with meter-to-cash operations
