Marketing Product Manager (Contract) Please note that this is a contract role providing services to Microsoft through external staffing partners of Allegis Global Solutions. If you are selected for this role, you will be employed by AGS and will not be an employee of Microsoft. Summary This position offers an exceptional opportunity to shape and execute integrated marketing strategies for a digitally centric B2B brand and performance marketing team. The successful candidate will orchestrate comprehensive customer journeys across multiple digital channels, focusing on creating cohesive, personalized experiences that drive engagement and maximize value. This strategic role demands a data-driven professional who excels at aligning diverse stakeholders, translating complex business objectives into actionable marketing plans, and delivering measurable results. The position requires someone who can balance big-picture strategic thinking with meticulous execution, while maintaining an unwavering focus on customer experience. Working at the intersection of strategy, execution, and innovation, this individual will lead cross-functional initiatives that directly impact product adoption and customer satisfaction. The role offers significant autonomy and visibility, requiring exceptional communication abilities including executive-level storytelling and the capacity to influence without direct authority across organizational boundaries. Job Responsibilities

  • Develop and own comprehensive marketing strategies that establish customer-first approaches for holistic journeys across the entire funnel
  • Lead integrated marketing initiatives that unite strategy, execution, and experimentation across performance marketing channels
  • Create and maintain proactive marketing calendars that align with business objectives and product goals
  • Design integrated customer journeys rooted in deep understanding of business and product marketing objectives
  • Partner with cross-functional teams to build channel strategies and measurement plans for consistent storytelling across paid media, web, in-product, social, and other platforms
  • Orchestrate and facilitate consistent messaging for maximum audience impact while collaborating with creative teams to deliver on time and within budget
  • Establish annual forecasts and goals, manage performance to meet or exceed targets, and communicate results to stakeholders and leadership
  • Develop content for monthly business reviews to share with partners, stakeholders, and leadership teams
  • Collaborate with digital marketing channel leads including paid, email, and in-product teams to optimize execution
  • Lead and participate in pilot programs that support innovation and process improvements
  • Serve as subject matter expert on customer insights and business intelligence within the organization
  • Partner with analytics teams to forecast metrics and execute strategies that achieve established targets

Requirements

  • 8 to 10 years of integrated marketing experience in digital, relationship, social media, campaign management, event management, marketing strategy, business planning, or marketing operations
  • Minimum 3 to 4 years of hands-on digital marketing experience specifically in B2B environments
  • Bachelor's Degree in Business, Marketing, Communications, Economics, Public Relations, or related field, or equivalent professional experience
  • Demonstrated experience leading virtual teams and managing relationships across organizational lines
  • Proven track record of working with stakeholders from different organizations and levels
  • Experience gaining executive buy-in on strategy and reporting to senior leadership
  • Background in customer experience improvement, efficiency gains, and performance optimization
  • Customer journey mapping and visualization of brand touchpoints
  • B2B digital marketing execution and strategy development
  • Campaign strategy development across multiple marketing channels including in-product and email
  • Executive presentation creation and white-paper development
  • Virtual team leadership across organizational boundaries
  • Cross-functional stakeholder management and alignment
  • Strategic thinking combined with detail-oriented execution

Additional Details

  • Location: Remote
  • Duration: 7 months
  • Pay Range*: $59 - $67 per hour
  • Weekly Schedule: 40 hours
  • Job Status: Non-Exempt
