Job Description

Lensa is a career site that helps job seekers find great jobs in the US. We are not a staffing firm or agency. Lensa does not hire directly for these jobs, but promotes jobs on LinkedIn on behalf of its direct clients, recruitment ad agencies, and marketing partners. Lensa partners with DirectEmployers to promote this job for Insight Global. Clicking "Apply Now" or "Read more" on Lensa redirects you to the job board/employer site. Any information collected there is subject to their terms and privacy notice. Job Description We are seeking a skilled AI Agent Developer to design, build, and deploy robust, standalone AI agents capable of autonomous reasoning, planning, multi-step task execution, and independent decision-making. In this role, you will leverage large language models (LLMs) and integrate agents with enterprise data sources, SaaS applications, and business workflows using cloud-native AI services (AWS Bedrock, Azure AI, Google Cloud AI) or specialized platforms such as Google Gemini, DevRev, or Sierra. You will focus on creating flexible, cross-platform agents—not embedded assistants—while establishing development standards for reusability, security, and performance optimization. You will modernize business processes through agent-driven automation, design collaborative multi-agent systems, implement secure integrations via APIs and webhooks, monitor and improve agent performance, and provide technical guidance to cross-functional teams. This role is fully remote, though occasional travel to Chicago may be required. Pay Rate: $100-$108/hr We are a company committed to creating diverse and inclusive environments where people can bring their full, authentic selves to work every day. We are an equal opportunity/affirmative action employer that believes everyone matters. Qualified candidates will receive consideration for employment regardless of their race, color, ethnicity, religion, sex (including pregnancy), sexual orientation, gender identity and expression, marital status, national origin, ancestry, genetic factors, age, disability, protected veteran status, military or uniformed service member status, or any other status or characteristic protected by applicable laws, regulations, and ordinances. If you need assistance and/or a reasonable accommodation due to a disability during the application or recruiting process, please send a request to HR@insightglobal.com.To learn more about how we collect, keep, and process your private information, please review Insight Global's Workforce Privacy Policy: https://insightglobal.com/workforce-privacy-policy/. Skills And Requirements

  • 2+ years building and deploying standalone/agentic AI agents using AWS Bedrock, Azure AI, Google Cloud AI, Gemini, DevRev, Sierra, or equivalent
  • Strong Python proficiency; solid Java and/or JavaScript experience
  • Proven expertise integrating LLMs/agents with data sources, SaaS apps, APIs, and webhooks
  • Experience designing multi-agent systems with task handoff and autonomous decision-making
  • Solid knowledge of AWS, Azure, or GCP; experience deploying scalable cloud AI solutions
  • Track record troubleshooting, securing, monitoring, and improving production AI agents
  • Bachelor’s or Master’s in Computer Science, AI, or related field
  • 5+ years of professional software development and automation experience - Hands-on experience with Google Gemini, DevRev, or Sierra
  • Familiarity with advanced AI/ML techniques (reinforcement learning, advanced NLP, agent frameworks)
