Program Administrator (Remote Opportunity) School of Medicine, Stanford, California, United StatesNew Administration Post Date 2 days ago Requisition # 108361 The Department of Psychiatry & Behavioral Sciences within Stanford University's School of Medicine is seeking a Program Administrator to serve as a lead on a major, multi-site initiative across California titled EPI-CAL. The Program Administrator will collaborate with partners at UC Davis and UC San Francisco to support the statewide implementation of Coordinated Specialty Care (CSC) for early psychosis. This project supports all 58 California counties in developing and strengthening CSC programs to ensure equitable access to gold standard care, promote early detection, and accelerate recovery outcomes. This role provides high-level program management and coordination to advance EPI-CAL's strategic objectives. Responsibilities include leading complex, multi-site coordination efforts; guiding the development and execution of Training and Technical Assistance (TTA) initiatives; managing project deadlines and workflows; and monitoring progress across counties. The Program Administrator will work closely with faculty, clinicians, external stakeholders, and collaborating site staff to continuously assess county readiness, track implementation progress, and ensure alignment with project goals. Duties Include

  • Independently implement, administer and evaluate day-to-day activities of the unit, function or program by identifying and executing tasks and objectives, making recommendations that impact policies and programs, and assigning resources to achieve the goals of the program.
  • Collect and analyze data, create reports, review and explain trends; formulate and evaluate alternative solutions and/or recommendations to achieve the goals of the program or function.
  • Analyze and interpret policies; develop, revise and implement procedures for program or function
  • Represent the program or function as the key contact and subject matter expert within the department, unit or school. Commit resources and provide information and/or training. May also represent the program or function to external/internal stakeholders and constituencies.
  • Organize and/or participate in outreach activities that may include developing communications and training, planning/promoting events and/or conferences.
  • May participate in development of budgets, monitor, and approve expenditures. May perform limited forecasting and provide recommendations that determine the budget.
  • May direct staff to perform various tasks and assignments. May also supervise staff.

Desired Qualifications

  • Knowledge of/familiarity with the state of California and its geographic locations
  • Advanced degree to include MSc or PhD
  • Knowledge of implementation science frameworks
  • Familiarity with cornerstone learning management system
  • Knowledge of project management frameworks and tools

Education & Experience (required) Bachelor's degree and three years of relevant experience, or combination of education and relevant experience. Knowledge, Skills And Abilities (required)

PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS:*

  • Constantly perform desk-based computer tasks.

This role is open to candidates anywhere in the United States. Stanford University has five Regional Pay Structures . The compensation for this position will be based on the location of the successful candidate. The expected pay range for this position is $65,281 to $104,687 per annum for remote positions. The expected pay range for this position is $100,023 to $124,516 per annum for Stanford Work Location. Stanford University provides pay ranges representing its good faith estimate of what the university reasonably expects to pay for a position. The pay offered to a selected candidate will be determined based on factors such as (but not limited to) the scope and responsibilities of the position, the qualifications of the selected candidate, departmental budget availability, internal equity, geographic location, and external market pay for comparable jobs.
