Clinical Pharmacist - Oncology Specialty Workplace Type: 100% Remote About The Role We are seeking a licensed Clinical Pharmacist with experience in specialty and/or oncology pharmacy to join our team in a fully remote capacity. This role is responsible for the safe and accurate dispensing of specialty medications while providing clinical consultation to patients and healthcare providers. The pharmacist will also oversee pharmacy staff and ensure compliance with all regulatory and quality standards. Key Responsibilities
- Accurately fill, verify, and dispense prescribed pharmaceuticals and compounds
- Provide clinical consultation and medication guidance to patients and healthcare providers
- Supervise and provide oversight to pharmacy caseworkers, technicians, assistants, and support staff
- Ensure prescription pricing accuracy and confirm appropriate payment methods are established
- Coordinate delivery of prescriptions to the appropriate site per patient request, regulatory requirements, and cold-chain protocols
- Maintain compliance with Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs), state and federal regulations, and accreditation standards
- Submit and manage Adverse Events (AE) and Product Quality Complaints (PQC) as required
- Support quality assurance, safety initiatives, and continuous process improvements
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor of Pharmacy (BPharm) or Doctor of Pharmacy (PharmD)
- Active Washington State Pharmacist License (in good standing)
- 2+ years of experience in a specialty pharmacy or similar clinical setting
- Experience with oncology medications and specialty drug workflows
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to patient safety
Preferred / Nice-to-Have Qualifications
- Prior remote pharmacy work experience
- Oncology or specialty pharmacy certification
- Experience supervising pharmacy staff
- Familiarity with cold-chain medication delivery and specialty pharmacy compliance
Job Type & Location This is a Contract position based out of Seattle, WA. Pay and Benefits The pay range for this position is $50.00 - $60.00/hr. Eligibility requirements apply to some benefits and may depend on your job classification and length of employment.
