Full Stack Developer

RESPONSIBILITIES: Kforce has a client in Phoenix, AZ that is seeking a Full Stack Developer for a remote contract role. Candidates must be available to work Arizona business hours (8:00 AM - 5:00 PM, AZ time). Position Summary We are seeking a mid-level Full Stack Developer to join a dynamic team focused on building scalable, accessible, and AI-integrated solutions. The ideal candidate will have strong technical expertise, leadership capabilities, and a collaborative mindset to contribute to strategic planning and sprint execution. Key Responsibilities

• Design, develop, implement, test, and maintain business and computer applications software
• Fine-tune and improve a variety of sophisticated software implementation projects
• Gather and analyze system requirements, document specifications, and develop software solutions
• Analyze and review enhancement requests and specifications
• Implement system software and customize to client requirements
• Prepare detailed software specifications and test plans
• Code new programs and create test data for testing
• Modify existing programs and conduct unit testing
• Create migration packages for system testing, user testing, and implementation
• Provide quality assurance reviews and post-implementation validation

REQUIREMENTS:

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or related field
• 5-7 years of professional experience in software engineering
• 5+ years of experience in software development
• 1+ years of experience in AI-related development (agent/chatbot, Python)
• Strong foundation in computer science, including data structures, algorithms, and software design
• Experience with large systems software design and development
• Proven troubleshooting and unit testing skills with both new and legacy systems
• Genesys Cloud experience

Technical Skills:

• Frontend development using Next.js and React, with accessibility expertise
• Microservices architecture and development
• AWS Lex, Lambda, and generative AI integration
• AWS Cloud infrastructure and Terraform
• System troubleshooting and Agile collaboration

Leadership & Communication:

• Strategic planning and sprint execution
• Mentorship and technical guidance across experience levels
• Ability to communicate technical concepts to non-technical audiences
• Architectural understanding and decision-making

The pay range is the lowest to highest compensation we reasonably in good faith believe we would pay at posting for this role. We may ultimately pay more or less than this range. Employee pay is based on factors like relevant education, qualifications, certifications, experience, skills, seniority, location, performance, union contract and business needs. Salaried personnel receive paid time off. Hourly employees are not eligible for paid time off unless required by law.
