Digital Marketing Specialist

Description Digital Marketing Contractor Needed! Remote Background This client has implemented Salesforce Marketing Cloud (SFMC) several years ago as the primary tool for bulk email communications. It is now required that partners across the institution utilize SFMC for their activities. However, demand for email marketing support is growing faster than available resources. To address this, we need a focused plan and narrative to manage expectations, sustain a strategic implementation roadmap, and educate the community on appropriate tools for different audiences and activities. This role will help document the current state, define a short- and long-term roadmap, and create clear guidance for stakeholders. Key Responsibilities:These are the two projects that need to get done:Email Landscape Audit & Strategy

• Audit and map the email landscape at Ohio State, including activities, audiences, and distribution tools
• Develop recommendations aligning email activities with the most appropriate distribution tools
• Create an executive summary and detailed narrative outlining findings and optimization strategies

SFMC Narrative & Roadmap

• Collaborate with the core SFMC team to articulate objectives, benefits, and roadmap for SFMC adoption
• Assess current and future resource needs; propose a resourcing model
• Develop documentation and communication materials for leadership, partners, and other stakeholders

RequirementsRequired Skills & Qualifications

• Proven email marketing experience with exposure to diverse audiences and tools
• Strong data management and analytical skills
• Extensive Salesforce Marketing Cloud Experience
• Previously created roadmaps and proposals
• Strategic thinker with ability to connect technical details to business objectives
• Excellent storytelling and documentation skills-able to create clear, compelling narratives
• Highly collaborative and comfortable working with cross-functional teams
