Position Overview JLL is seeking an experienced Project Manager to join our Project & Development Services team. In this role, you will oversee the planning, execution, and delivery of commercial real estate projects from inception through completion, ensuring projects are delivered on time, within budget, and to the highest quality standards. You will serve as the primary point of contact for clients while coordinating with contractors, consultants, and internal stakeholders to drive successful project outcomes. Key Responsibilities The Project Manager will manage all aspects of construction and renovation projects for corporate, commercial, and institutional clients. You will develop comprehensive project plans, establish timelines and budgets, and monitor progress throughout each phase of work. Your role includes coordinating design development, managing procurement processes, and overseeing contractor performance to ensure compliance with specifications and building codes. You will conduct regular site visits to monitor construction activities, identify potential issues, and implement corrective actions as needed. Financial management is a critical component, requiring you to track project expenditures, process invoices, manage change orders, and provide detailed budget reports to clients and leadership. Communication and stakeholder management are central to this position. You will facilitate regular meetings with clients, design teams, and contractors to align expectations and resolve issues promptly. You'll also be responsible for maintaining comprehensive project documentation, including contracts, permits, schedules, and closeout materials. Required Qualifications Candidates must hold a Bachelor's degree in Construction Management, Engineering, Architecture, or a related field, along with 5-7 years of project management experience in commercial construction or corporate real estate environments. Demonstrated experience managing projects valued at $5M+ is essential, as is proven ability to handle multiple concurrent projects across various client accounts. Strong knowledge of construction methods, building systems, and relevant building codes and regulations is required. You must possess excellent financial acumen with experience in budget development, cost control, and variance analysis. Proficiency in project management software such as Procore, Microsoft Project, or similar platforms is necessary, along with advanced skills in Microsoft Office Suite. Professional certifications such as PMP (Project Management Professional) or CCM (Certified Construction Manager) are highly valued. Strong analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making capabilities are essential, as are excellent written and verbal communication skills. The ability to read and interpret construction drawings, specifications, and technical documents is required. Preferred Qualifications LEED accreditation or knowledge of sustainable building practices is advantageous. Experience with tenant improvement projects, corporate workplace strategies, or mission-critical facilities adds significant value. Familiarity with JLL systems and processes or previous experience working with national real estate service providers is beneficial.
