Regional Director NYS

The Company is a leading NY wine and spirits importer with a comprehensive portfolio of imported wine and spirits from more than 50 suppliers with a strong focus on European countries.

It is a confidential search and the name of the Company will be shared latter after the initial screens and before the interview with the hiring manager.

The scope is NY (both Metro NY and Upstate), a key market for the company. The Regional Manager NY is a senior sales role responsible for overseeing the business planning, development and execution of an assigned division, ensuring the delivery of profitable growth through effective distributor management and market plan execution. This role is the key point of contact for senior level Distributor leadership in the assigned area to effectively develop and execute the annual sales plan. The Regional Manager NY works in conjunction with the District Managers under his/her responsibility to optimize tactical spend in a way that drives profitable volume growth and organic sustainability. The Regional Manager NY reports into the Regional VP. For top candidates, the title can be Director.

KPI: $50M business, team of 10 DM’s, 1 distributor, wine and spirits portfolio.Location: Remote (Home based) Metro NY – close to NYCQualifications

• Ten to Fifteen (10-15) years of alcohol beverage sales experience in progressively responsible roles.

• Sales experience in New York (Metro NY a must)

• Experience in managing a direct team of sales professionals

• Budget and pricing responsibilities

• Exceptional Sales leadership skills with demonstrated ability to grow a profitable business.

• Strong command of effective Distributor leadership skills, influencing action to meet/exceed the business plan.

Results oriented; thrives in a dynamic; fast-paced environment.
