We're working with a leading global strategy and technology consultancy focused on mission-critical national security challenges on this exciting opportunity.
Are you ready to unlock the secrets held within massive data sets to solve global challenges ranging from fraud detection to cancer research? We are looking for a mid-level Data Scientist to leverage machine learning, Python, and advanced analytics to turn complex, disparate data points into objective answers for high-stakes decision-makers.
The Role
• Lead the development of sophisticated algorithms and automated analytic software to solve complex client problems across the public and private sectors.
• Design and implement robust ETL pipelines by querying APIs, cleaning structured and unstructured data, and architecting schemas for efficient data storage.
• Dig into data-rich environments to find the missing pieces of information puzzles using predictive modeling and statistical analysis.
• Create high-impact data visualizations using tools like Tableau, Power BI, or ArcGIS to translate technical findings into actionable insights.
• Collaborate in a remote-friendly environment, guiding teammates and integrating Open Source (FOSS) or COTS products into scalable solutions.
What You'll Need
• At least 2-3 years of professional experience using data science programming languages like Python or R for real-world applications.
• Proven expertise in version control tools specifically git, GitLab, GitHub, or Bitbucket, alongside experience in DevOps environments (CI/CD, Jenkins).
• Deep knowledge of machine learning methods, predictive modeling, and the ability to build automated analytic tools from scratch.
• Active TS/SCI clearance is required (TS/SCI with Polygraph preferred).
• Experience or interest in multi-intelligence domains such as GEOINT, HUMINT, OSINT, or SIGINT within the Intelligence Community or DoD.
