About The Role Habitat for Humanity International (HFHI) is currently seeking a talented professional for the role of a Senior Analyst - Compliance Solutions. This analyst will work with affiliates that have chosen to end their relationship with HFHI voluntarily disaffiliation/dissolution (D&D) or affiliates that have been identified for disciplinary disaffiliation. This individual will assist these affiliates in the wind down of operations and corporate dissolutions or name changes to assure that the work occurs in a legal manner and in a way as to not negatively impact the Habitat for Humanity brand. This position will be remotely based in the US. What is a Habitat for Humanity Affiliate? A Habitat for Humanity affiliate is a local, independently run nonprofit organization that carries out Habitat for Humanity’s mission within a specific community or service area. These affiliates are the operational backbone of Habitat’s work. Key Responsibilities
- Work with affiliates that have chosen to end their relationship with HFHI or affiliates that have been identified for disciplinary disaffiliation. Assists the affiliates in the wind down of operations and corporate dissolutions or name changes to assure that the work occurs in a legal manner and in a way that does not negatively impact the Habitat for Humanity brand. (65%):
- Guiding affiliates in their dissolution/name change process including guiding affiliates through the process, seeking neighboring affiliate to accept assets, working with affiliates and their legal/accounting professionals to resolve issues that delay dissolution/name change completion.
- Creating and maintaining the project management case process for D&D analysts to utilize when working with disaffiliated affiliates aimed at minimizing brand risk and protecting disaffiliated affiliates assets – with priority on Habitat homeowner mortgages.
- Managing and maintaining the conversion from team processes in Word/Excel to Smartsheet software
- Expanding and utilizing Smartsheet software to broaden collaboration with HFHI departments enabling the enhancement of D&D teams work with disaffiliating affiliates.
- Collect and monitor data and project management software automations as it relates to all aspects of the Dissolution & Disaffiliation teams work, to improve the collection of data, report data to leadership and other HFHI teams. (15%)
- Expanding and continually improving D&D teams case management to broaden collaboration and cross functional case work support with HFHI departments. (15%)
- Guiding, training and serving as mentor to related to the ongoing improvements/enhancements of team processes and case management. (5%)
Key Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent.
- At least 2-3 years of professional experience conducting high risk organizational assessments with a D&D focus.
- Experience with nonprofit governance and compliance, legal/ regulatory knowledge, or some financial acumen.
- Experience with mergers, closures, or restructuring is highly valuable.
- Ability to handle complex risk assessment cases and identify solutions.
- Ability to communicate effectively to Habitat for Humanity affiliates around any risk assessment issues.

- Experience working with Habitat for Humanity or similar type of Non-Profit organization.
The actual salary offered for this role will be based on a variety of factors, including location, internal equity and the candidate’s qualifications and professional experience. HFHI offers a competitive, comprehensive benefits package that varies by country and typically includes vacation leave, sick leave, personal days, health insurance options, retirement plan contributions and life insurance. For work locations in the US, the hiring range for this position is $59,000 -$70,000. Application Deadline: March 11, 2026.
