Job Title: Collections Specialist

Employment Type: Full-Time

Work Mode: 100% Remote

Pay Range: $25 – $28 per hour (depending on candidate experience)

About the Role

We are seeking an experienced Collections Specialist with strong Invoice-to-Cash (I2C) expertise to support accounts receivable and collections activities. The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience managing customer collections, resolving billing issues, and driving timely cash flow while maintaining positive customer relationships.

Key Responsibilities

• Manage end-to-end collections activities within the Invoice-to-Cash process
• Monitor customer accounts to ensure timely payment and reduce past-due balances
• Perform outbound collection calls and email follow-ups with customers
• Investigate and resolve billing discrepancies, short payments, and disputes
• Collaborate with internal teams (Billing, Sales, Customer Service) to resolve issues impacting collections
• Prepare and analyze aging reports, collection status, and payment trends
• Ensure accurate cash application and proper account reconciliation
• Maintain detailed and up-to-date documentation of collection efforts
• Follow company policies, compliance requirements, and customer service standards

Required Qualifications

• 2+ years of experience in Collections / Accounts Receivable / Invoice-to-Cash
• Strong understanding of AR aging, disputes, deductions, and cash application
• Proven experience handling B2B collections
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills
• Strong negotiation and problem-solving abilities
• Ability to work independently in a remote environment
• Proficiency with ERP systems (SAP, Oracle, NetSuite, or similar) and MS Excel

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience working in a shared services or global finance environment
• Knowledge of SOX controls and compliance
• Prior experience supporting multiple regions or customers
