About the Role
As our Strategic Partnerships Development Manager, your primary responsibility is to create and grow revenue-producing relationships.
You will identify, develop, and manage strategic partnerships with:
- Event planners
- Wedding planners
- Venues
- Hotels
- Corporate event teams
- HR departments
- Marketing agencies
- Promotional agencies
- Entertainment vendors
- Community organizations
Your goal is to generate recurring referrals, premium bookings, and long-term growth opportunities.
This is not a clock-punching admin role. This is for someone who likes creating momentum and getting rewarded for results.
We are primarily looking to book high-end, premium corporate bookings in the $5k+ range. These will primarily be large marketing activations, conferences, etc.
Key Responsibilities:
Partnership Development
- Identify potential referral and booking partners
- Reach out to venues, planners, agencies, and organizations
- Build mutually beneficial relationships
- Negotiate preferred vendor opportunities
- Maintain active communication with partners
Business Development
- Generate new leads and opportunities
- Prospect new corporate and private event clients
- Attend networking events when useful
- Follow up consistently until opportunities convert
Revenue Growth
- Help secure bookings and new accounts
- Focus on premium opportunities of $5,000+
- Develop repeat and annual client relationships
- Help grow strategic verticals such as corporate and trade shows
Market Expansion
- Recommend new markets, niches, and growth ideas
- Help create outreach campaigns and go-to-market strategies
- Identify underserved opportunities competitors miss
Pipeline Management
- Keep leads and partnerships organized
- Track progress and next actions
- Provide updates on opportunities in progress
Compensation
This is a commission-based opportunity with strong upside.
- Generous commissions on closed business
- Bonuses for major deals and premium partnerships
- Residual opportunities on repeat accounts
- No cap on earnings
Bookings often range from $1,500 to well over $10,000, with a strong focus on developing $5,000+ premium opportunities.
