Role Description This is a full-time remote role for a Video Editor at Freedom Financing. The Video Editor will create, edit, and refine video content for marketing, educational, and promotional materials across digital platforms. Responsibilities include assembling raw footage, applying transitions, sound, and graphics, and ensuring high-quality storytelling that aligns with the company’s brand and messaging. The role involves color grading, basic motion graphics, and collaborating with internal stakeholders to translate complex financial concepts into clear, engaging visual content. The Video Editor will manage multiple projects, maintain organized file systems, and deliver content on schedule while adapting to feedback and evolving campaign needs.
Qualifications
- Strong video production and video editing skills, with experience creating content for digital and social media platforms.
- Proficiency in video color grading and basic motion graphics to enhance visual quality and audience engagement.
- Ability to work with graphics and visual assets to support branding, on-screen text, and explanatory visuals.
- Experience with industry-standard editing tools (e.g., Adobe Premiere Pro, Final Cut Pro, DaVinci Resolve, After Effects or similar).
- Solid understanding of storytelling, pacing, and audio-visual alignment, with attention to detail and consistency.
- Strong organizational and time-management skills, with the ability to handle multiple remote projects and meet deadlines.
- Effective communication and collaboration skills, comfortable receiving and implementing feedback from cross-functional teams.
- Prior experience in finance, professional services, or B2B marketing is a plus, as well as a portfolio demonstrating relevant video work.
