UX Project Manager (Remote)

Location: RemoteJob Type: ContractCompensation Range: $100 - 110 per hourWe are seeking talented UX Project Managers on behalf of our client, a leading firm in the financial services industry. We are building a qualified talent pool to meet projected staffing needs for anticipated 6-12 month contract roles. Please note that specific pay rates and project details will vary depending on the roles that arise.Candidates must be commutable to one of the following locations: Malvern, PA, Charlotte, NC, or Phoenix, AZ. Remote applicants may be considered dependent on highly relevant experience.Responsibilities:Candidates will be expected to perform or lead the following functions:Serve as the central point of contact and operational lead for UX, Design, and Research teams, driving the end-to-end execution of digital product initiatives within an Agile framework.Manage project scoping, define deliverables, track progress, identify dependencies, mitigate risks, and ensure the timely delivery of UX assets (e.g., wireframes, prototypes, research reports) to engineering and product teams.Develop and maintain clear, detailed project documentation, including roadmaps, resource plans, status reports, and meeting summaries, ensuring alignment across all cross-functional partners (Product, Engineering, Legal, Marketing).Facilitate effective communication and workflow between geographically dispersed UX/Product teams and external stakeholders, streamlining the process from ideation through final hand-off and implementation.Champion and enforce design governance standards, advocating for the consistent use of the centralized Design System and ensuring compliance with regulatory and accessibility requirements (e.g., WCAG 2.1 AA) throughout the development lifecycle.Proactively identify and resolve operational roadblocks or process gaps, driving continuous improvement within the UX and Product development organization.Qualifications:Experience: Minimum of 5-8 years of progressive experience in a UX Producer, UX Project Manager, Design Program Manager, or similar operational/program management role supporting large-scale digital product design teams.Industry Expertise: Proven, substantive experience managing projects within the financial services, banking, insurance, or other highly regulated industries that require stringent adherence to compliance and security protocols.Methodology Expertise: Advanced proficiency with Agile/Scrum methodologies and experience utilizing tools such as Jira, Confluence, and project management software to manage design sprints and backlogs.Communication & Collaboration: Demonstrated exceptional ability to communicate clearly and manage expectations effectively across all levels of the organization, from design staff to executive leadership.Design Systems: Direct experience operationalizing or governing the use of a centralized Design System across multiple product teams.JOBID: 112025-116995#PLEqual Opportunity Employer: Race, Color, Religion, Sex, Sexual Orientation, Gender Identity, National Origin, Age, Genetic Information, Disability, Protected Veteran Status, or any other legally protected group status.At Cella, a randstad digital company, we welcome people of all abilities and want to ensure that our hiring and interview process meets the needs of all applicants.
