GRILTECH, an EMS-CHEMIE company, manufactures a range of specialty chemicals including Griltex® hotmelt adhesives, Grilon® fibers and yarns, Nexylon® and Nexylene® technical fibers, Grilbond® adhesion promoters, Primid® crosslinkers for coatings, and Grilonit® reactive diluents and epoxy hardeners. These products are used in diverse high-tech applications such as bonding technical textiles, manufacturing automotive filters, reinforcing composites, and providing protective coatings.

About the Role

EMS-GRILTECH is looking for a strong Divisional Leader to oversee and lead a small team of operations and sales professionals promoting the GRILTECH product offering. This position is virtual but we are looking for someone from either the Charlotte market or Columbia SC preferably.

Responsibilities

  • Responsible for Quantity / Net Sales and Profitability in the Americas
  • Responsible for Direct Sales and Project Pipeline of designated accounts in the Americas
  • Assists in the establishment of Marketing Concept, 3-Year Plans and 1-Year Plans
  • Adheres to approved Indirect Costs budget within set guidelines
  • Manages Customer Service / Sales Support Group
  • Manages Sales / Technical Staff for Divisions C+A, CI and TF+Y
  • Manages Business Administration between UBEG-A and UBGA / UBEG

QualificationsRequired:

  • B.Sc. in Chemical, Mechanical, or Textile Engineering or related field
  • Minimum 7 years sales and/or business/marketing experience required.
  • Strong communication/presentation skills
  • Proficient with personal computers and programs (Windows 7 Environment, Word, Excel, Power Point, internet, etc.)

Preferred:

  • Business Operations Management
  • Key Account Management on national and global level
  • Sales / Marketing experience in textiles / textile fibers or adhesives
