Virtual Learning Assistant, The Novatio School (Remote) - $40,000/year USD

This role focuses on creating an environment where students feel motivated, confident, and prepared to engage—without the burden of grading or curriculum design. Novatio School is transforming student support through an AI-enhanced learning approach. Core academic instruction is delivered in two concentrated morning hours. Afternoons are reserved for live, interactive workshops where students collaborate, discover, and develop. You'll maintain momentum and handle operational flow. Your focus will be guiding students through transitions, fostering participation in small groups, and providing encouragement when challenges arise. Content delivery isn't part of your remit, but your presence will be critical to ensuring seamless, impactful sessions. What You Will Be Doing

• Facilitating live virtual workshops by overseeing breakout rooms, transitions, and collaborative activities
• Encouraging student participation and confidence through chat engagement, recognition, and individual outreach
• Maintaining student focus, connection, and enthusiasm throughout learning sessions
• Providing operational support to lead educators to ensure workshops proceed without friction
• Serving as a community anchor and approachable figure across bilingual programming and extracurricular clubs

Virtual Learning Assistant Key Responsibilities Enable dynamic, virtual learning environments by ensuring students remain engaged, structured, and motivated during each workshop experience. Basic Requirements

• Available to work 8am - 5pm M-F US Mountain Time (UTC-7)
• Minimum 1 year of experience mentoring, coaching, tutoring, or leading youth
• Educational background in US, Canadian, or UK school systems (K-16) - must have attended school in one of these countries (current location can be anywhere)
• Excellent communication abilities and an energizing, student-centered approach with attention to detail
• Prepared to begin by the end of July

• Familiarity with online learning platforms or youth enrichment initiatives
• Experience in after-school programs, summer camps, or club facilitation
