This recruiting role operates at a different velocity than most. Crossover needs a college recruiter to identify, engage, and convert 50 Alpha AI Engineer Interns: top-performing undergraduates from Stanford and MIT who will spend their summer developing solutions with generative AI. Your objective? Deliver that cohort. Quickly. You will own the full recruitment lifecycle: from establishing campus relationships and coordinating event execution to driving large-scale outreach and converting applicants. You must operate with the agility of a startup founder, the instincts of a talent scout, and the discipline of a sales executive. This is not about polished networking dinners or branded merchandise tables. It's about delivering measurable outcomes: 50 interns, summer 2026, Austin, TX. You will have the resources you need — independence, funding, defined targets — and direct accountability for results.   • Constructing and operating a results-focused recruitment funnel targeting MIT and Stanford CS/ML undergraduates from first contact through accepted offers
  • Managing every aspect of on-campus event logistics — securing venues, coordinating catering, and arranging promotional materials
  • Making regular trips to MIT and Stanford to lead in-person sessions, information presentations, and strategic engagement with students and academic staff
  • Executing a data-informed, structured campaign: tracking outreach scale, event participation, assessment progression, and final enrollment yield
  • Serving as the primary representative of the Alpha AI Engineer internship on campus — accessible, dependable, and authoritative

What You Won’t Be Doing

  • Depending on employer branding or HR infrastructure to generate interest — you are accountable for the complete result
  • Making occasional campus visits or conducting passive recruiting — this demands intensive, continuous engagement
  • Delegating operational tasks to support teams — you will reserve spaces, handle shipments, and finalize catering arrangements yourself
  • Operating on standard business hours — critical activity occurs when students are available: evenings, weekends, exam periods

Talent Recruiter Key Responsibilities Successfully recruit and confirm a complete, high-quality Alpha AI Engineer internship cohort (50+ accepted offers) from Stanford and MIT by May 2026 using targeted outreach, campus events, and rigorous funnel oversight. Basic Requirements

  • Minimum 1 year of experience in college recruitment, admissions operations, or event-driven outreach
  • Documented track record in large-scale outreach initiatives and engaging student audiences
  • Confirmed capability to independently coordinate intricate event logistics
  • Strong communicator with excellent organizational discipline and self-management
  • US-based with flexibility to travel regularly to Stanford and MIT

Nice-to-have Requirements

  • Degree from Stanford or MIT
  • Prior experience recruiting for computer science, machine learning, or technical talent pools
  • Professional history in sales operations, campaign management, or startup environments
