This is not a conventional tutoring position. You will facilitate live online workshops that challenge exceptional students, deliver focused contest preparation for competitions such as AMC and AIME, and develop reusable resources that elevate standards across GT Anywhere and GT campuses. • Develop and facilitate 2–4 live online domain workshops weekly that cultivate competition-grade mathematical reasoning
• Provide 1:1 or small-group coaching for targeted contests through mock examinations, timed exercises, and comprehensive analysis
• Identify weaknesses quickly and design customized development plans aligned with each student's objectives and scheduled competitions
• Monitor advancement using a structured mathematics development framework and modify teaching methods according to data
• Produce original, challenging problem collections and modular instructional materials that other teachers can deploy broadly

What You Won’t Be Doing

• Provide general homework assistance or grade-focused tutoring lacking defined, quantifiable results
• Conduct standard classroom-format lessons limited to conventional curriculum boundaries
• Offer unplanned problem practice without strategy, assessment mechanisms, or competitive pathways
• Rely on borrowed or insufficiently rigorous content that fails to meet competitive mathematics benchmarks

Competition Math Coach Key Responsibilities This position ensures gifted students reliably produce measurable, competition-standard mathematical achievements that GT School can showcase and families can depend upon. Basic Requirements

• Documented elite mathematical accomplishment (e.g., Olympiad medal, AIME qualification, top national ranking, or comparable verified record)
• Minimum 6 months of teaching, coaching, or mentoring experience with demonstrated outcomes
• Capacity to present advanced mathematics in clear, accessible terms to gifted young students
• Thorough knowledge of math competition structures, content areas, and preparation methods (e.g., AMC, AIME, Olympiads)
• Effective online teaching capability and skill in maintaining student engagement through video
• Availability for 5–10 hours weekly
• Dependable internet connection and professional video equipment

Nice-to-have Requirements

• Current, ongoing participation as a competitor, coach, or creator of competition-oriented content
• Track record creating reusable instructional libraries, problem collections, or curricula for use by other educators
