Job Description

Posted on: December 1, 2025

WARNING: This isn't a typical campus recruiting position. Crossover needs a college recruiter to identify and secure the next cohort of 50 Alpha AI Engineer Interns: top-performing undergraduates from Stanford and MIT who will dedicate their summer to building with generative AI. Your mission? Complete that class. Quickly. You'll oversee the full recruitment lifecycle: relationship development and event coordination through to mass outreach and candidate conversion. You'll operate with the agility of a startup, the instincts of a talent scout, and the precision of a sales executive. This isn't about branded dinners or promotional merchandise. It's about outcomes: 50 students, summer 2026, Austin, TX. You'll receive complete support — independence, resources, defined objectives — with total accountability. This position suits someone energized by ambitious targets, accountable for their deliverables, and skilled at sourcing and securing exceptional CS talent. Core Details

  • $75,000 annual salary + complete travel reimbursement
  • Full-time role with comprehensive benefits
  • US-based (requiring significant travel to MIT and Stanford)

You Could Be Our Perfect Fit If You

  • Radiate infectious enthusiasm that captures attention — and drives student participation
  • Approach logistics like strategic planning and excel at precision execution
  • Maintain composure during crunch times and adapt smoothly when priorities change
  • Understand how to command attention, advance a pipeline, and deliver against demanding targets
  • Enjoy the rhythm of university environments and converting curiosity into commitment
  • Excel in travel-intensive roles — prepared, scheduled, perpetually one move ahead

If you graduated from Stanford or MIT — or understand how to succeed on those campuses — this represents the most impactful recruiting opportunity available. What You Will Be Doing

  • Constructing and overseeing a results-focused pipeline of Stanford and MIT CS/ML undergraduates from first contact through accepted offers
  • Managing all operational aspects of on-campus recruitment activities — including venue booking, catering arrangements, and materials production
  • Making regular trips to MIT and Stanford to conduct in-person sessions, information presentations, and dynamic engagement opportunities with students and professors
  • Executing a rigorous, data-informed strategy: tracking outreach numbers, event turnout, assessment progression, and ultimate enrollment rates
  • Serving as the primary campus representative for the Alpha AI Engineer internship — accessible, systematic, and trustworthy

What You Won’t Be Doing

  • Depending on corporate branding or HR departments to generate interest — you control the entire process from start to finish
  • Making occasional campus visits or conducting passive recruitment — this demands intensive, continuous effort
  • Delegating operational tasks to support staff — you'll secure venues, arrange shipments, and coordinate food service yourself
  • Maintaining standard business hours — critical engagement happens on student schedules: evenings, weekends, exam periods

Campus Recruiter Key Responsibilities Successfully recruit and secure a complete, elite Alpha AI Engineer internship cohort (50+ accepted candidates) from Stanford and MIT by May 2026 using targeted outreach, campus events, and systematic application funnel oversight. Basic Requirements

  • Minimum 1 year in university recruiting, admissions operations, or event-driven outreach roles
  • Documented track record in large-scale outreach and student activation
  • Confirmed capability to orchestrate sophisticated event logistics without assistance
  • Strong communicator, exceptionally organized, independently motivated
  • US resident with flexibility for frequent travel to Stanford and MIT

Nice-to-have Requirements

  • Degree from Stanford or MIT
  • Prior experience recruiting for CS/ML or related technical talent pools
  • History in sales operations, campaign management, or startup environments
