Recruiting Coordinator Consultant (Contract – Fully Remote - only available to residents of Chicago)
📍 Location: Fully Remote (Must be local to Chicagoland)
⏳ Duration: 6+ months
💰 Pay Rate: Up to $30/hour
🕒 Schedule: 40 hours/week | 8:30am–5:30pm or 9:00am–6:00pm
🚀 Start: 1–2 weeks from offer (pending background check)
About the Role
Our Client, a well-established, fast-paced financial services organization seeking an experienced Temporary Recruiting Coordinator to join its Human Resources team on an urgent basis. This role will provide critical support to a high-volume recruiting function and assist with onboarding coordination. This is an excellent opportunity for a polished, detail-oriented professional who thrives in a high-output environment and enjoys partnering with multiple recruiters and stakeholders.
Key ResponsibilitiesRecruiting Support (Approx. 75%)
- Coordinate and schedule interviews across multiple recruiters and open roles
- Communicate with candidates, recruiting agencies, and internal interview teams to confirm availability
- Send calendar invites and manage interviews via Zoom, Microsoft Teams, and in-person meetings
- Enter candidates into visitor systems and reserve conference rooms as needed
- Distribute candidate assessments and track results for recruiters
- Draft offer letters
- Create candidate profiles and upload resumes into the ATS (Workday)
- Maintain accuracy of internal and external job postings
Onboarding Support (Approx. 25%)
- Submit new hire requests to internal technology teams ahead of start dates
- Notify internal teams of new hires and departures via distribution lists
- Create onboarding and orientation schedules
- Complete onboarding tasks within Workday and CRM systems
- Assist with administrative onboarding materials (binders, schedules, meeting materials)
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree required
- 1–2+ years of recent experience as a Recruiting Coordinator or HR Coordinator/Assistant
- Experience supporting high-volume recruiting environments
- Strong interview scheduling and coordination experience
- Hands-on experience with Zoom and/or Microsoft Teams
- Familiarity with Workday or a similar ATS
- Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Outlook
- Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills
- Strong verbal and written communication skills
- Ability to maintain confidentiality
- Must be able to pass a criminal background check
