Project Manager – IV Lead, PaymentsLocation: Remote - some travel fully expensed

Overview

We are seeking an experienced Project Manager (IV Lead) to drive delivery across Payments and Treasury Services platforms within a large financial services environment. This role will lead complex initiatives spanning ACH, wires, lockbox/RDC, merchant services, fraud prevention, and cash operations, ensuring alignment between business, technology, and operational teams.

The Project Manager will serve as a primary delivery lead, coordinating across Payments Operations, Treasury, IT, vendors, and PMO leadership to manage scope, timelines, risks, and execution.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead end-to-end delivery of Payments and Treasury Services initiatives, including system enhancements, integrations, and regulatory-driven changes.
• Own project plans, milestones, dependencies, RAID logs, and executive status reporting.
• Coordinate cross-functional teams across Payments Operations, Treasury, IT, Risk, Vendors, and PMO.
• Drive delivery across the following platforms and capabilities:
• ACH & Wires
• Account Analysis & Float
• Positive Pay / Fraud Controls
• Merchant Services
• Lockbox & Remote Deposit Capture (RDC)
• Cash Vault Operations
• Transmissions / OpenText integrations
• Partner with business and technical leads to define requirements, manage scope, and ensure on-time delivery.
• Oversee system configuration changes, interface dependencies, and upstream/downstream impacts.
• Coordinate UAT planning, execution, defect triage, and release readiness.
• Support implementation, cutover activities, and post-release stabilization (hypercare).
• Escalate risks and issues proactively, providing clear recommendations and mitigation plans.

Qualifications

• 7–10+ years of IT Project Management experience within banking or financial services.
• Strong background supporting Payments, Treasury Services, or Cash Management platforms.
• Hands-on experience with ACH, wires, lockbox/RDC, merchant services, or fraud/payment controls.
• Proven ability to lead cross-functional teams in complex, regulated environments.
• Experience working within PMO / enterprise delivery frameworks.
• Proficiency with tools such as ServiceNow PPM, Smartsheet, Jira, or similar.
• PMP or equivalent certification preferred.
