Junior Designer (PART TIME)Location: 100% Remote (NYC Preferred)

Hours: Variable, SLA-based (No fixed weekly cadence)

Duration: As-needed contract support for ~6 months

Role Overview

This role supports the production and upkeep of promotional content tiles used across web, mobile, and TV platforms. The work is execution-focused and driven by incoming requests from marketing partners, often with short notice. The priority is accuracy, speed, and strict adherence to detailed visual requirements.

This is an ideal role for a junior or early-career designer who is comfortable with production work, following precise specs, and turning around requests quickly.

Key Responsibilities

• Receive content tile assets from marketing partners and prepare them for platform use
• Crop and format images based on a detailed list of requirements (for example, logo placement, cropping rules, and talent visibility guidelines)
• Ensure compliance with content rules such as actor placement and visual hierarchy
• Apply basic animations (fade-in/fade-out sequencing) using After Effects
• Upload finalized assets into the CMS (AtoM)
• Turn around requests within a 24–48 hour SLA once requirements are provided
• Flag unclear requirements or potential issues proactively

Workload Expectations

• Work is as-needed, not consistent week to week
• Volume increases around major launches and tentpole events
• Most requests are short in duration, but spikes may occur
• Hours can be managed monthly rather than weekly

Qualifications

• Entry-level or early-career experience in design, production, or digital media
• Comfortable with image cropping and following detailed visual specs
• Basic experience with After Effects for simple animations
• Familiarity with CMS tools (experience with AtoM is a plus, not required)
• Strong attention to detail and clear communication skills
• Portfolio required
