Job Summary: As a Territory Manager, you will play a crucial role in driving sales and market penetration for our products. You will be responsible for building and maintaining strong relationships with customers, serving a broad base including channel partners, consultants, and end users, while identifying new business opportunities, and providing technical support to ensure partner and user satisfaction.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and implement strategic sales plans to achieve company goals and objectives.
- Identify and target potential customers, including public safety agencies, transportation companies, and utility providers and other wireless communications users.
- Conduct product presentations, demonstrations, and training sessions for customers.
- Provide technical support and assistance to customers during pre- and post-sales stages.
- Collaborate with the marketing team to develop promotional materials and campaigns.
- Monitor industry trends and competitor activities to identify new business opportunities.
- Prepare and submit regular sales reports and forecasts to management.
- Attend industry trade shows, conferences, and events to promote our products and services.
- Regularly update CRM opportunities in internal and external databases, monitor sales pipeline while providing reporting for managed territories.
- Attend virtual and in-person meetings and training seminars with manufacturers.
- Develop tools and resources for business development, account management, and marketing content.
- Strategize solutions, and provide "cocktail napkin" system design concepts to customers, as needed,
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in business, communications, engineering, or a related field.
- Proven experience in sales, preferably in the land mobile communications industry.
- Strong technical knowledge of land mobile communication systems and related technologies.
- Excellent communication, presentation, and negotiation skills.
- Ability to work independently and manage multiple tasks effectively.
- Proficiency in excel, Zoho CRM software (a plus), Google Workspace and other sales tools.
- Willingness to travel regularly for client meetings and industry events.
