Atmosphere Press is a mission-driven hybrid publisher focused on helping authors bring great books into the world. We’re looking for a part-time Interior Book Designer to join our remote team. If you love beautiful books and know your way around Adobe InDesign, this is your kind of gig.

🔧 The Role:

You’ll take raw Microsoft Word manuscripts and turn them into professionally designed, print-ready book interiors. We provide in-house templates to get you started, but you’ll also have design freedom to tailor each layout based on the cover design, fonts, and genre.

✅ What You Need:

• Strong Adobe InDesign skills (non-negotiable)
• Experience with book layout (not just flyers or brochures)
• Design sensibility: white space, font pairing, structure
• Attention to detail and commitment to deadlines
• Clear, fast communication — ghosters won’t cut it
