Job#: 3025267Job Description:Job Title: Project ManagerIndustry: Financial ServicesContract term: 9 months (through end of year) – potential to extendLocation: Remote – working CST hoursRate: up to $60/hr.Overview Our client is seeking an experienced Project Manager to support Claims Communications initiatives across digital and print channels. This role partners closely with Claims stakeholders to analyze business needs, translate them into clear communication requirements, and support changes across more than 800 member‑facing templates used throughout the claim lifecycle (letters, emails, texts, notifications, and more). The consultant will help shape communication content, coordinate approvals, drive requirements, support UAT, and ensure changes meet compliance, accuracy, and member‑experience standards. This role does not write content but collaborates with designers, copywriters, and Legal/Compliance to conceptualize and coordinate updates. Key Responsibilities:

  • Partner with Claims teams to gather requirements for updates to existing communication templates.
  • Review, analyze, and update Word‑based content requirements (dynamic and static fields, business rules, logic, and rendering).
  • Translate policy, process, regulatory, or legal updates into clear, member‑friendly communication requirements.
  • Collaborate with designers, copywriters, Legal, Compliance, Brand, and IT to shape communication outcomes.
  • Manage approval workflows, stakeholder alignment, and project timelines.
  • Provide clear updates on what is changing, why it is changing, and impacts to members and internal teams.
  • Coordinate cross‑functional work and gain approvals through delivery.
  • Define test scenarios, create test cases, and lead or co‑lead UAT execution.
  • Manage defects, validate updates post‑release, and ensure quality and compliance.
  • Track communication changes using existing enterprise systems.
  • Prepare concise PowerPoint decks for leadership and executive‑level audiences.
  • Provide status updates, risk/impact summaries, and decision documentation.

Required Qualifications (Must-Haves)

  • 3–5 years of Project Management experience, preferably supporting cross ‑ functional initiatives.
  • Proven experience delivering change management communications (what is changing, why, impacts, stakeholder messaging).
  • Exceptional attention to detail across content accuracy, logic, and requirements.
  • Experience gathering business requirements and writing requirement artifacts.
  • Strong communication skills, able to translate complex information into clear, plain ‑ language outputs.
  • Demonstrated success collaborating with business, legal, compliance, and IT teams.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience working in Claims, Insurance, P&C, Medical, or similar environments.
  • Familiarity with claims processes or member‑facing communications.
  • Experience managing large volumes of communication templates across channels.

Tools & Technologies

  • Microsoft Word – housing and updating communication requirements.
  • Jira – task, workflow, and project tracking.
  • PowerPoint (required) – stakeholder updates and executive‑ready presentations.
  • Salesforce Genesis or similar tools for tracking communication changes.
  • General PM software (no specific system required).
