Territory Sales Manager

Client is the industry leader in their niche! This next hire can be based in select markets in the San Jose / San Francisco area.

The company is privately held and a manufacturer with a strong presence across the United States, Canada, and Europe.

They are seeking a hardworking individual with prior account management or business development experience within building materials. Someone who can work independently, is self-motivated, and believes strongly in providing superior customer service to their customers.

Job Summary – This role will manage a very strong and loyal customer base while providing field service and training support throughout the territory.

This is a remote position with expected overnight travel of approximately 2–3 nights per month. The focus will be on growing and expanding product sales within an already healthy customer base.

You will manage some of the company’s most important clients on the West Coast, promote and nurture the company’s products, present and sometimes facilitate industry-certified training sessions, and conduct hands-on product demonstrations in the field.

The company provides a $1,000 monthly car allowance plus gas.

Responsibilities

• Establish and maintain strong client relationships.
• Overnight travel 2–3 times per month.
• Work closely with clients and attend regional trade shows.
• Conduct product demonstrations.
• Track and report sales activity in a timely manner.
• Communicate effectively with other members of the team.

Qualifications

• 1–8 years of field sales, counter sales, or field service experience.
• Account management experience.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office and CRM software.
