Position Summary The Application Support Engineer on the Allied Digital team will be responsible for delivering technical support for the My Allied Member Portal, Allied Digital Admin and other applications developed and managed by the Allied Digital team. This role serves as a key liaison between end-users and technical teams, ensuring that application systems function smoothly and meet user needs. Essential Functions
- Provide technical support and incident resolution for business-critical applications, ensuring minimal disruption to operations
- Troubleshoot, analyze problems, determine root causes, and develop solutions
- Interact with users via various channels (email, phone, chat) to understand issues and provide support
- Maintain comprehensive documentation of support issues, solutions, workflows, and system configuration
- Work with other IT teams and stakeholders to address complex issues
- Monitor application performance and stability while proactively identifying potential issues and areas of improvement
- Other duties as assigned
EDUCATION
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent work experience in Computer Science, Information Technology or similar technical field required
Experience And Skills
- At least 5 years’ experience in an application support or similar IT role is required
- Proficient in SQL for data querying and troubleshooting application/database issues
- Experience with DevOps tools
- Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills
- Strong customer service orientation and ability to collaborate with cross-functional teams
- Professional experience supporting and/or testing mobile applications
- Experience using Postman and/or other API tools that interact directly with HTTP APIs
