Job Description

Posted on: May 5, 2026

Identity & Access Management (IAM) Analyst (AI Training)About The Role Identity is at the heart of modern enterprise security — and AI needs to understand it deeply. We're partnering with leading AI research labs to build models that genuinely reason about IAM risk, and we need experienced practitioners to make that happen. If you've spent time in the trenches of identity and access management — diagnosing misconfigurations, reviewing privilege structures, or hardening zero-trust architectures — your expertise can directly shape how the next generation of AI understands enterprise security.

  • Organization: Alignerr
  • Type: Hourly Contract
  • Location: Remote
  • Commitment: 10–40 hours/week

What You'll Do

  • Analyze realistic IAM, SSO, and access control scenarios to identify weaknesses, misconfigurations, and failure points
  • Classify permission issues, privilege escalation paths, and identity-related vulnerabilities
  • Review zero-trust models and evaluate access design decisions for correctness and risk
  • Generate and validate realistic identity security data used to train and evaluate AI systems
  • Provide structured, expert-level feedback that helps AI reason accurately about IAM risk

Who You Are

  • 2+ years of hands-on experience with IAM, SSO, or enterprise identity platforms
  • Solid understanding of RBAC, least-privilege principles, and access review processes
  • Familiarity with how identity failures occur in real environments and how attackers exploit them
  • Clear written communication skills — you can explain complex access control concepts concisely
  • Self-motivated and comfortable working independently on task-based assignments

Nice to Have

  • Experience with identity platforms such as Okta, Azure AD, AWS IAM, or CyberArk
  • Exposure to cloud identity, federated authentication, or privileged access management (PAM)
  • Background in security engineering, penetration testing, or compliance (SOC 2, ISO 27001)
  • Familiarity with AI or data labeling workflows

Why Join Us

  • Work on cutting-edge AI projects with top research labs and directly influence frontier AI models
  • Fully remote and flexible — work on your own schedule, from anywhere
  • Freelance perks: autonomy, variety, and global collaboration
  • Make a meaningful contribution to AI that reasons correctly about real-world security
  • Potential for ongoing work and contract extension
