Sales Manager( Power Utility)

Remote position based in the US Central Region

Must be willing and able to travel up to 75%

We’re seeking a driven and knowledgeable Area Sales Manager with deep expertise in the Power Utility sector. This remote role is ideal for a strategic leader who can coach, advise, and inspire our sales team while developing strong relationships with utility clients across the Central US.

Responsibilities:

  • Oversee and coordinate the sales team activities.
  • Analyze sales statistics to identify areas of improvement.
  • Track results and trends regularly for business forecasting.
  • Build and form new partnerships with potential clients.
  • Conduct frontline assessments of market conditions and communicate insights to the team.
  • Maintain up-to-date knowledge of products, services, and competitor activities; perform sales and marketing research and benchmarking as needed.
  • Address and resolve customer and buyer concerns and objections throughout the procurement process.
  • Highlight key features and benefits of products/services, provide price quotes, discuss credit terms, and prepare sales order forms and reports.
  • Lead and mentor sales teams targeting Power Utility clients.
  • Drive business growth through strategic client engagement.
  • Deliver training sessions on sales strategies and product offerings.

Qualifications:

  • BS degree in business administration or a related field.
  • Minimum 2 years in the Power Utility industry.
  • Proven success in Inside/Outside sales .
  • Outside plant construction.
  • HDPE and fiber optics.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
  • Salesforce experience is a plus.
