Silicon Validation Engineer

Job Title: Silicon Validation EngineerJob Description The primary objective of this role is to develop and maintain automated metric collection systems from FPGA implementation flows, ensuring repeatable analysis of build quality, timing, and infrastructure health. Responsibilities

• Develop scripts to extract metrics from Vivado implementation runs.
• Automate the collection of timing, utilization, and quality metrics using TCL and Python.
• Integrate extracted metrics into existing data pipelines and tooling.
• Support and modify FPGA constraint and automation scripts as needed.
• Collaborate with internal and partner teams to enable reliable metric generation.
• Extend metric collection to additional FPGA platforms or legacy flows as required.

Essential Skills

• Strong experience with TCL scripting.
• Proficiency in Python.
• Solid understanding of FPGA implementation flows, timing, and utilization.

Additional Skills & Qualifications

• Experience with TCL scripting for Quartus.
• Familiarity with CI/CD-driven FPGA builds.
• Experience working with large or production FPGA infrastructures.
• 3 years of experience with Python.
• 3 years of experience with TCL scripting.
• Experience aligned to tools and automation, not test development.

Work Environment The team is dedicated to building engineering systems and automation, particularly focusing on FPGA tool data extraction to support the next generation of projects. Key projects include automation for FPGA tool data extraction and moving design information into databases/data lakes for analysis. This is a collaborative environment, where working directly with vendor engineers to solve complex issues is encouraged. Job Type & Location This is a Contract position based out of Redmond, WA. Pay And Benefits The pay range for this position is $65.00 - $70.00/hr. Eligibility requirements apply to some benefits and may depend on your job classification and length of employment.
